However, developing and maintaining a measurement software for each domain specific mod- eling language is costly. Our contribution is a model-driven measurement approach. This measurement approach is model-driven from two view- points: 1) it measures models of a model-driven development process; 2) it uses models as unique and consistent metric specifications, w.r.t a metric specification metamodel. This declarative specification of metrics is then used to generate a fully fledged implementation. The benefit from applying the approach is evaluated by two applications. They indicate that this approach reduces the domain-specific measurement software development cost. %G English %2 https://inria.hal.science/inria-00456483/document %2 https://inria.hal.science/inria-00456483/file/Monperrus08d.pdf %L inria-00456483 %U https://inria.hal.science/inria-00456483 %~ ENSTA-BRETAGNE %~ EC-PARIS %~ UNIV-RENNES1 %~ CNRS %~ INRIA %~ INSA-RENNES %~ INRIA-RENNES %~ IRISA %~ IRISA_SET %~ INRIA_TEST %~ TESTALAIN1 %~ IRISA-D4 %~ INRIA2 %~ UR1-HAL %~ UR1-MATH-STIC %~ UR1-UFR-ISTIC %~ TEST-UNIV-RENNES %~ TEST-UR-CSS %~ UNIV-RENNES %~ INRIA-RENGRE %~ INSA-GROUPE %~ UR1-MATH-NUM
