Cooperation in industrial project for the IGIP-SEFI 2010 Conference

Abstract : The aim of this study is to analyze the pairwork activity and cooperation of two French engineer students at ENSIETA during their "industrial project". The method applies consists to the framework of the Course of Action Theory (Theureau, 2006) Analysis of the students' interactions allowed us to identify: one initial result: Students did not apprise preoccupations in the same way during the period analysed , Five concerns or preoccupations were identical, but one student opted for control, be it consciously or not, and the other for adjustment to the objectives of his partner. A status of domination appeared in the team. The second result: Three forms of collective articulation were identified, periods of harmonious collaboration, of conflictual collaboration and of divergent collaboration. The cooperation between both the students was not symmetric. However they handled their co-operation in a way that avoided any head-on collision.
